About Me

I grew up in a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I have always had a love for crafts and took advantage of many 4-H programs growing up. One of my favorites was a friendship bracelet making club! When I was in high school I borrowed a sewing machine from a friend of my mom and made curtains for my bedroom. When that project was done,  I gave the sewing machine back and put sewing aside. Some other crafts I have done over the years include cross stitch, scrapbooking and crocheting. Somewhere along the way after college, I ended up with a sewing machine again. I did the occasional project here and there, but it wasn't until my second child came along that I really got interested in sewing again. I made a ring sling and burp cloths in preparation for his arrival and then when he was a few months old, a friend introduced me to cloth diapers. While learning about cloth diapers, I saw many cute, unique diapers made by WAHMs (Work At Home Moms). I started gathering knowledge and supplies to sew diapers myself and quickly became addicted to sewing! Of course one baby only needs so many diapers, so that was the point at which I started selling my products. It has been quite the journey since then. I have made so many different products and sold in many different local events and in different platforms online too! While my products and sales platforms may have changed along the way, my love for sewing has not waivered! I have met a lot of amazing people along the way and look forward to meeting more. Thank you all so much for your support!
